Hello,

You don't have to wait for us as many issues are already mentioned in the documentation.pdf that is included in your download. There is FAQ for 404, I pasted below

Why am I getting 404 Not Found error after installation?

Please

  1. make sure that your apache mod_rewite is enabled
  2. check that .htaccess file is successfully uploaded and exists in the main directory of SMA
  3. base_url in app/config/config.php

If you are using godaddy, please visit the codeigniter official guide here. You might need to check and modify you .htaccess files too.

You can always check your error log to get more information about the issue.

  1. I have godaddy shared hosting so I have confirm mod_rewite is enabled in this.
  2. In root folder there is not .htaccess. but in app folder there is .htaccess file
  3. Base_url in correct in app/config/config.php

But there is as it's 404 error

Please check the contents of the .htaccess file in main installation folder that holds themes, app, system folder and index.php file.

You can attach screenshots here.

Same issue happened to me. The installation completed successfully and login details were displayed. Then I removed the "install" directory and tried to access the login page. I was redirected to "localhost/pos/admin" and the page is 404.
