500 Server Error When Installing V4-0-0-Rc-14

1

I'm doing a fresh installation in a new domain. However, version 4 seems to have an issue.
I tried installing the old version 3 just for testing, and it works really well.
The version 4 installation has an "500 server" error
Please see the attached laravel logs so you can help me solve the problem.

Thanks,
JP

Hello,

I saw the error for key but that might the logged before installation. The last error is that your database use can't co

Access denied for user 'xxxxxxxxx_sim_username'@'127.0.0.1' (using password: YES)

Please make sure that the password is correct and that the user has all the privileges on the database. A thing to note that if your password has # in it then you need to edit the .env file and wrap your password in quotes like "YREYWR#$EF2" # in pass caused the connection error.

The support response is 2 working days and we don't work on Saturdays and Sundays. You have the right to review the item as you feel.

Please try the above solution and if still same, check the logs again and let me know the error details.

Thank you

Hi Mian, thank you very much! I made it work. The problem is indeed with the password having '#' character.
One last thing: Is it possible for the Invoice link to download the attachment without logging in?
One must have a user account to download invoice (and upload proof of payment) attachments. Is it possible not to have one but still download it? Thanks!

Hello,

The invoice link should be accessible without login. If you can't access it without login, please let me.

Thank you
