The uploads are saved in the public folder. Did you replaced it or upload the files to replace with latest?

1. If you replaced that mean the old folder is delete and new once is place. It means that your uploads are delete too.
2. If you uploaded without replace or merged them then your uploads should be there in public assets folder.
