Forum Cat And Sub-Category Count Problem

"I'm pleased to inform you that I have successfully installed the Simple Forum on my domain. This is a great step forward. However, I've run into a minor issue that I'm hoping to resolve.
The issue lies with my sub-category titled 'Graduation Events.' I've created two articles under this sub-category. However, the sidebar, which displays a count of articles for each category and sub-category, is not reflecting these additions. Instead, it's showing '0' articles under 'Graduation Events.'
This discrepancy is confusing and could potentially mislead my forum users, making them believe that there are no articles under 'Graduation Events.' Therefore, I am looking for a solution to accurately update the article count in the sidebar.
For a clearer understanding of the issue, I've attached a screenshot. Any assistance on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect that is due to storage link, please run
php artisan storage:link --forceif you get error, then please delete thestorage&imagesfolder frompublicfolder and run the command again. -

Please check with your server admin, if system didn't give error OR not logged in logs then it has successfully initiated the email.

Hello, thank you for your response yesterday. I have already run the command php artisan storage:link --force, and some of the errors have been fixed. The profile picture is now resolved, but the issue with the logo icon still persists. Additionally, on my contact page, during testing, I was able to send and receive emails successfully. However, when I implemented it on the website, I encountered an error 500 (https://teachersportalph.com/contact).
I have already contacted my hosting provider, Namecheap, regarding the issue. In their investigation, they found the following error in the Laravel log:
[2023-06-15 02:04:43] production.ERROR: Unable to connect with STARTTLS: stream_socket_enable_crypto(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages:
error:1416F086:SSL routines:tls_process_server_certificate:certificate verify failed {"exception":"[object] (Symfony\Component\Mailer\Exception\TransportException(code: 0): Unable to connect with STARTTLS: stream_socket_enable_crypto(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages:
error:1416F086:SSL routines:tls_process_server_certificate:certificate verify failed at /home/teacqlqj/public_html/vendor/symfony/mailer/Transport/Smtp/Stream/SocketStream.php:171)"
According to their findings, it seems that this issue needs to be resolved within the Laravel code. They mentioned that they are unable to assist with editing the website code, which is why the problem has not been fixed successfully.
Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you could also address the category order issue that I mentioned yesterday. These are the current problems I am encountering. Thank you so much.

Please try to remove MAIL_ENCRYPTION=null line from .env and try again. If still the asme error, then ask your host about TLS.

I am pleased to inform you that the email settings issue on my website has been successfully resolved. Thank you for your assistance with that. However, I'm still experiencing problems with the favicon, despite following your suggestions. I suspect the issue is related to the storage link. Please run "php artisan storage:link --force". If an error occurs, kindly delete the "storage" and "images" folders from the public folder and run the command again. As of now, the favicon is not displaying.
Additionally, there's an error on the "My Favorite" page, which displays a "500 Server error". The message reads, "Sorry, the server encountered an error, please try again later." Further details of the error are as follows:
"SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1052 Column 'user_id' in where clause is ambiguous (Connection: mysql, SQL: select count(*) as aggregate from threads inner join thread_user on threads.id = thread_user.thread_id where thread_user.user_id = 1 and active = 1 and approved = 1 and (group is null or group = -1 or group = 0 or group = 1 or user_id = 1))"

I am sorry, I got Dengue and last 5 days couldn't check anything. I am getting better and will fix the reported issues in few days.
User can send message to others user (if they didn't disabled it) from profile details.
The email generated withe default setting, no option to change it but I will add this in next update.
