i need help server says 500 error

hey guys i just bough this sofware script called tailer shop management, but when i try to install by following the documentations the server says 500 error i am using a cpanel hosting, please help.

Can you access the installer? Is it installed or not yet?
If the error is after installation, please check the today's error log file in storage/logs/ and let me know the error details so that I can suggest.
If you can't access the installer, then you can to check your sever error logs or with your host and let us know the error details.

i am using ubuntu server, in the html folder, now i passed the 500 error but there is new problem, it says "Error!
Installer is unable to call your server! Please make sure you are installing on proper web server." at the preinstall checks

Hello,
You need to set the domain/host correctly DocumentRoot for apache or root for nginx to public folder inside the upload files. You can google about installing laravel on ubuntu as there would be many articles.
