Need Open Cash Drawer for Web based printing

Its available in the PHP, PPP setting but not available when using web based printing.. ty 😃

hs ahh ok then your solution seems like it works great... I have a POS printer with direct cable to the register, so a feed or simple "." in my case may work

As far as I know, you need to issue a special command to printer, depending on printer model, that triggers the drawer. Simple printing (or feed) may not help.

David kodwell Yes, I am thinking about . too but as it's from browser so need some work that could take some time.
Harpreet Singh They have set printer properties to open cash drawer before printing.

saleem If it can be set from printer properties, then you are right, you can print a blank line (or .) to initiate drawer. Even a line feed should do.
I don't have such a printer handy so cannot test my theory.
If possible, please let us know how it went.

I would love to try out your solution as I want to be able to open the cash drawer without the need to use the printer but I cannot see the webserver code. Is it possible you can share the code again please?
