Do we have any possibility to add product details as bulk in to system through Excel spread sheet?

Before we update latest version, we need to take back up, once upload the back up back to system after latest version updates, Did we get update in to system all previous information including product details ?

- No, there is no option to add/update product details for bulk products.
- You need to backup to avoid any mishap. The update doesn't delete anything just adds new columns only.

You mean from 2nd answer that once we update the latest version, we should not upload the latest back up file. Isn't it? The reason we take back up before the update only for a safe side ?

Yes. The database backup is to be safe if anything went wrong with update. You don't have to restore backup but only config files.
