Please have a look on attached screenshots, which showing our setting for the weight format = 3, within the invoice it is correct format, BUT in product definition screen it presented with 4 digits.

The money and number format settings are only for display purposes. That's not for the inputs. The input will have standard number with four decimals for all number inputs.
