we count stock often, at least once a month.
but we notice items have quantity problems and due to some varriations as well, such as damage and sometimes we exchange.

we just observe this new issue where the database system doesn't substract which we have never consider, because we rely on the system calculation and adjust the quantity accordingly. Also, we sync product before we run the stock count or check product details.

so we have to be careful about this issue 50/50 now.

For the item with different stock on stock count should be investigated as you mentioned. I was planning to re-write this app, but it's grown quite big. So still not sure if I should just update the framework or re-write 😦 I will check the option once I start as this is second in-line for update queue.

I have one suggestion relates to return sale.
when we sale we can edit price on sale ( sale price with varriants and no varriants ) but items with varriants also be able to adjust price, but when we return we cannot edit price, and technically the system automatically add the "Additional Price" in varriants in to the price of product in the invoice.

this makes the total amount on invoice different from total sale amount, we could also set the total return/refund amount but grand total on invoice still not match. ( see attached files for better understanding).

this problem also concerns me a lot because we need to use product varriants and also each varriants have different price so if we sale and return it automatically add like this then at least we should have an option to adjust price on return also.

ONE MORE << the adjust price on sale with product varriants, it is not allow us to sale product lower than the "Additional price" on the varriants, some case we don't use discount, we prefer use adjust price on sale but because this happen we cannot adjust because price less than Additional price on varraints is not allowed.

these are my current problem right now with varriants sale and price as well as return/refund.

so is there a way that we would work with return items that have varriants better way?
because when we return and we cannot adjust the price so it will make mistake on the return invoice and if the varriants have price addition it will add to the return price so it make the return amount is more than sale amount, which is not correct.

please help if there is any existing option to adjust .
