Error Redirect In Browsers Install

0

Hello Mian, how are you friend, I have not been able to install the new version "Tecdiary - Modern Point of Sale Solution v0.6.1" in my localhost on the one hand it says that it is v0.6.0 when it is being installed and on the other hand it gives an error redirect in browsers when you try to open the URL to install "http: //mps-standard.test/install", could you tell me how I can solve it. Try to install with both PHP 8.0.10 and PHP 7.4.9 and in both versions it gives the same error.

This site cannot be accessed mps-standard.test refused the connection.

Hello Mian, carried out the process exactly as you indicate and it continues giving error, I attach the process to the "composer install" executable, browser image when executing "mps-standard.test/install" and log file.

Thanks for your time and help.

Hello Mian, how are you? Well after several tests I was able to do the installation halfway with the steps that I detail below, which in my opinion should not be the appropriate ones. First it is good to clarify that I have a standard license, that the installation was done from scratch and not in the installation that I already had working with version 0.5.0 and finally for the installation process I had to install PHP 8, because otherwise it does not work.

Installation process:

  • Unzip the .zip file "Tecdiary - Modern Point of Sale Solution v0.6.2.zip"

  • I delete the content of modules\Shop\module.json "Without this it gives an error"
    Line 9: "providers": [],
    Line 11: "files": [],

  • Run Composer Install

  • Create the database

  • Execute "http: //mps-standard.test/install" in the browser and complete the data

  • Finish the installation and redirect to "http: //mps-standard.test/" and give the redirect error

  • I clean the .env
Line 6: APP_INSTALLED = truefalse removed the "false"
    Line 8: APP_KEY = base64: pYoBaDSiyZMjo6HrDtG7LgbKjFBFtU7eNXmMUsUYvfE = base64: VuMQy24XBoefyf / Fku8vqZYFcl + QL / h4MQpnAWXoSgw =
    I remove the second key "base64: VuMQy24XBoefyf / Fku8vqZYFcl + QL / h4MQpnAWXoSgw ="
    Line 29: APP_URL = http: //mps-standard.testhttp: // yourAppURL removed "http: // yourAppURL"
Login to "http: //mps-standard.test/" and it gives the redirect error
Login to "http: //mps-standard.test/admin" EXCELENETE and here it redirects me to "http: //mps-standard.test/admin#/login" and asks for the access data and I can enter the administrative panel .

Now I proceed to install the Ecommerce

  • I go to configuration and click on "Manage Modules"

  • It redirects me to "http: //mps-standard.test/public/modules" and the module appears active, but at this point I still cannot enter the store.

  • I deactivate the module and activate it again and this is where it asks me for the License Key, I enter it and it gives me the following error:
"The item version is incompatible please update the main item and try again, error code 3003"

  • At this point I am about to perform an update to test with the commands: npm run mps: u and npm run shop: u but nothing, everything remains the same.

Now I have the administrative panel working, but the store does not install.

1.- At this point I wonder what the process should really be to install both MPS and Ecommerce.

2.- To download the file "Tecdiary - eCommerce Module for Modern POS Solution v0.6.2.zip" if it is not going to be used in the installation process.

3.- In each update, an installation from scratch must be carried out or it can be updated on the version that we are working on.

Thanks for your time and help.

Hello,

I am not sure why your .env file was not correctly update. I will check this again.

The modules loading lines were removed in 0.6.2 but I might have packed it wrongly so will check this too.

This version is manual but once this done the auto updates should work.

I am check and will release the update.

Thank you

Excellent Mian, but as I do right now to install the store, as I explain it gives me a version error "The item version is incompatible please update the main item and try again, error code 3003" and I need to work both with the administrative panel and with the store.

I really have no problems if the installation is manual or automatic, what interests me is to install everything and make it work, for example one downloads the zip from the store but then that zip is not used anywhere, or that was what I understood that you told me.

Thanks for your time and help.

Hello Mian, excellent. The MPS was installed without any problem both composer and install, now I still get the same error when I try to activate the store "The item version is incompatible please update the main item and try again, error code 3003".

I install the MPS and then I go directly to activate the store, now my question, I must do a step before activating the store.

Thanks for your time and help.

Excellent Mian. Now if the whole process was installed without any problem, but at this point I have several doubts

1.- Why download the file "Tecdiary - eCommerce Module for Modern POS Solution v0.6.4.zip" if it is not used in any installation process.
2.- How can I install the test data after having done the installation?
3.- Because after installing the MPS and the store, the store does not open until an account is created and the location, which has to do with the store.
4.- There is a way to place in a different file both the css modifications and any other change that one makes to avoid having to do it in each update.

Thanks for your time and help.

I've tried the installer again now.

  1. Unzip the package to server

  3. Installation
  4. Location and Account
  5. Install Shop Module with Key

Go to shop and its ok.

Hello,

@Hector Diaz

  1. The module manage will download and install them. There is no need to download and upload by you.

  2. If you have standard/extended license you can run php artisan db:seed command to seed the database.

  3. You need to have some data at least account and a location for shop to show up. These need to be added from admin area.

  4. No option at the moment but will check in future updates.

@Marcel Müller

You can please let me know where you can't upload the images? I mean for product, category or any other page? Please let me know, I will check and fix the issue.

Thank you all
