Having Installation Issues On Xampp

when installing using xampp I receive this message.
- Installer is unable to recall your server. Please make sure you are installing on a proper web server.

Please make sure you have set the correct root path. For xampp, please add virtual host and set the root path to public folder in your extracted files. Once you set the correct path, you should be able to make ajax calls to your server.
