Mutlilocation Pos And Product Import

Hello,

I can see mention of multiple cash registers being mentioned but I do not see options to create new registers/locations. Are we able to create multiple and how does it work on user and admin level in terms of reporting.

Also are we able to import products/purchases fro csv file with warehouse id column to import straight into warehouse? Otherwise I dont know how importing would work when user has to manually allocate again.

Hello,

SMA doesn't keep track of the physical register. Each user can open one register and the SMA will keep record of that user sales etc.

There is no option to import products to warehouse. You can import products to system first then add purchase (by csv) to set the initial stock.

Are registers at all mapped for inventory? Generally multiple registers would mean a multiple locations. Where is the stock coming from when using multiple registers, from default warehouse?

Is there a way to assing to POS register to a location and be able to log stock transfers and POS to use stock from allocated location?

Hello,

The products are system level means you should be able to add purchase/purchase of any products for any warehouse.

If you have assigned the warehouse to user then they won't have selection for warehouse but their assigned warehouse will be used for the sale/purchase.
