SBM allow overselling and set the stock quantity automatically. The products hasOne relationship with the stock. There is option to set stock while adding/editing product.

Stock will be subtracted while adding invoice and added with purchase. There is no stock tail or entry option available. Quantity should not be altered unless there is bug. I will test it again and if you found the cause, please update me. Test and real life use would be different so please keep an eye and let me know your findings. I will fix this as soon as I know the cause.

I will add the option to search the invoices and purchases with products code/name so that it can be filter. I am checking if I could add stock tail option to know the stock movement. If you have any thing else in mind that could help to figure out these situations please let me know.

have to go a little bit more in detail. I created purchases and invoices already. So until a point everything worked fine. Suddenly the purchased items aren´t showing anymore from that previous purchase. So the invoices are counted but the purchase is not reflected in the stock amounts. What comes to my mind is that we changed the naming of some items. Could it be that due to the fact the naming is changed the purchase is not valid anymore?

I tried a little bit around and realized that I have at least 2 purchase orders listed in my purchases which are not added to the stock amount but I´m quite sure this wasn´t the case when I initially created the purchases. I tried to edit the purchases without any change to the stocks... For one purchase the naming of the items is still correct so no changes happened. Will go testing further...

I am sorry as I din't fully understand. Are you saying that you have add only 1 purchase but 2 were added 😦

no I added several purchases... after I added the purchases the stock numbers were correct. Then I added several invoices and at some point the suddenly the stock amounts were not correct anymore. So I checked the purchases and found out that I have at 2 purchase orders listed which aren´t recognized by the system anymore. I tried to change amounts in these purchase orders but there is no change to the product amounts happening. What I did now is added new purchases and it seems to get better but the amounts are a mess right now. I still have 3 negative reported products where I try to find out what´s wrong...

I am sorry to listen. It's quite strange that system don't recognise 2 purchase while others working fine. Is there any errors recorded in the storage/logs/ folder?

Error has nothing purchase related. I can see few settings related str_contains and integrity constraint violation for payment errors. I have updated all the package to latest on demo and will release update after I tested it.

Do that 2 purchases have many items? Does all the items can be seen in the view purchase?

one has much items the other one only 8. IF I check view purchase seems so far everything is shown like in the purchase itself. I still have the purchases listed in case you want to check...

I have no idea why this is happening. For now, I think the only option is to correct the quantity manually or with purchase.

I will try to add stock trail to keep an eye on stock movement in next update. If you find the cause or know the step to replicate then please do update me.
