Stock In And Stock Out By Weight

0

Here is my scenario:

I have one 5-kilogram bag of sugar in WH1. I need to transfer 500g to WH2, leaving the inventory of WH1 with 0.9 bags of sugar and WH2 with 500g. How should I set up the unit conversions and be able to enter Stock-Ins and Stock-Outs by weight?

Hello,

You should use the quantity as main measurement unit. The weight is secondary option where you need both.

You can add Sugar with 0.5 quantity when transfer. Is there any issue with it?

If you are asking to use unit with weight then no there is no option. Units are used for quantity only.

Thank you

If this is the case, what is the use of the "Base Unit" conversion in the "Units" menu? I noticed that units with a "Base Unit" conversion do not appear on the Unit dropdowns. Why is that?
