Updating From V3 To Latest

I purchased the program on the 16th of this month, and the program was installed and working on it, but the version is old. Do I have to download the program again or is there another file to update?
The file was downloaded from the codecanyon website and there is a file that states that it is on the latest update, but when installing inside the program, the old version is mentioned

If there is database change, we might not updated the version in database but only file version as you see in the download file.
The codecanyon holds the latest file. Once we update the file, you will get notification from codecanyon. You can download file again and follow update instructions from documentation.pdf
