Hello, I have been testing Modern Point of Sale Solution (currently I have installed on my domain Stock Manager Advance with All Modules) and I would like to purchase Basic or Standard version, I have some questions:

Can I still apply for a discount since I have purchase Stock Manager Advance with All Modules?
Does MPS and SHOP have option to translate Email templates to another languages? (Stock Manager Advance with All Modules doesn’t have this option)
Also:
I would like to install Modern Point of Sale Solution on 3 domains (to sell different type of products/other project on the 3 domains), can you offer discount for purchasing multiple licenses?
And: for those 3 domains can I add the option for: when a customer/MPS user create an account in one domain be also created in the other 2 domains, is this possible?
BTW, great Job on MPS and great you be adding Shop module… Thank you.

Yes, you can use your purcahse code to get 50% off. Yes, MPS notifications are translate-able. Please email to [email protected] for multiple licnese purchase.

There won't be any communication between installations but this could be possibility once APIs are avaialble.

Hi Mian, I already own Stock Manager Advance with POS Module with an additional shop module. I wish I could give a try new MPS with an e-commerce module.

  1. I would like to purchase the Basic License of MPS using the discount code I created with the SMA purchase code. If I have am satisfied with the testing, I may upgrade the Basic Licence to Standard Licence. will I get a 50% discount if I upgrade later? Or I will lose the benefit of using discount count if I already used it for Basic License.

  2. I have a requirement for a new company that is into Vehicle Sales, Can we expect an android/ios mobile app for MPS POS or SMA POS connected to the main web version in the near future where we can use handheld android with an inbuilt barcode scanner and can connect to Bluetooth thermal printer.

  3. For the new purchases of POS applications which one we can expect future updates frequently? MPS or SMA

  4. As mentioned here in the website, free support is for 6 months, what about future updates? Is it free or do we need to pay after 6 months

Hello,

  1. I am sorry as we don't have any option for license update. I suggest you test it on live demo and then purchase the license.

  2. MPS will have mobile app in future but can't promise the features yet.

  3. SMA is on error/bug and security patch mode. MPS is on enhancement/improvement mode so features will be added more often in updates.

  4. There is no plan for restricted update, but I can't promise for future as it will depends on many factors including sales, support burden, features and maintenance cost. In such case we will have support renewal option.

In the MPS demo, no payment is updating in POS and also in the sales. But if we go to the payment list, we can see some payments listed there.

Hello,

Payments are attached to customer/supplier. You can check list transactions from list customers/suppliers page. If you add the payment from pos and all the sale payments can be views from actions > list payments menu on list sales page.

As an SMA user, I found many features are not available in MPS. Is there any ETD to at least include all the features/functions available in SMA. I know its not an easy task to bulild an application from scratch. Buy my new client needs almost all features in SMA whch are not available in MPS. At present, I cannot use the MPS in production purposes for my new client. I don't know whether I will be able to use MPS before 6 month free support expires.

I am totally in confusion - Do I need to buy a new licence for SMA with Modules for the new client or I stick with MPS. I have need for POS to be accessible via mobile for Van Sales. POS interface is far better in MPS than SMA POS. But lacks many features like adding new customers via POS, adding new products via POS. Also, part of the payment screen in POS is not visible in mobile phones Kindly advise on which one should I purchase.

Do you have a plan to add migration/transfer of data from SMAto MPS in future? I wish there should be an option to smooth transfer data to move from SMA to MPS

Hello,

No, there is no ETA but the update will be more often now. We are working on import/export. As I know only import/export and price groups are not there as compare to SMA. I might be wrong but if you can list the missing features we can check them in updates.

For the migration from SMA, that isn't easy task as the database schema is different for both items. We can only check about this after import/export is done.

You can choose any item that suits the need of your client. MPS is not stable yet but we will be working actively on this as we get feedback.

No. It's not completible with SMA. It's developed with different tech stack and database schema.

please I have the following questions

  1. what is the difference between standard and extended licenses

  2. does the shop module come with the modern point of sale solution

  3. how can I add and change currency both in online store (shop)and POS

  4. can the modern pos solution be used or installed on multiple subdomains under one domain

  5. can I create different business or stores on a single MPS and also create admin and users for each store and also see reports for each store differently

  6. how do I transfer quantities of a certain product from a warehouse or a location into the inventory and the quantity would change both in the warehouse and the inventory

  7. can I set reorder level for each product and get email or notification when the reorder level is reached

  8. how can I create customer cards with their name and customer ID on the card

  9. Are they Api available ?

  1. Please refer to license here
  2. No, eCommerce module is not complete item but just addon module.
  3. MPS admin area is single currency based and no option to set. For shop, you can add currency and set the defautl while adding/editing them.
  4. No for standard license. Yes, for Extended license.
  5. No. This is no multi-tenant app. The SaaS/Cloud module will be avaialble in future.
  6. You can tranbsfer item stock from one warehouse to another, check transfers menu.
  7. Yes, you can set the alert quantity file while adding/editing items.
  8. There is no such option for customers
  9. Not yet but will be avaialble in future.
