Hello Support,
We are experiencing a problem with Transfers. When we create a transfer transaction with Completed status, the stock quantity moves between stores as expected, but the stock amount value turns to ZERO ?!
Please see the attached screenshots for reference. And if there is any way I can send you a video clip of the whole transfer process showing the problem, please tell me how to do it.
Thank you, Mazyad

Hello,
I think AVCO can’t be used. Please update the accounting method in your settings and try using FIFO or LIFO.
I am still checking and will update once I find the cause.
Thank you

Hello,
Just for your information, I changed the settings as advised and tried the Transfers, unfortunately the same problem still exists! It sounds like you need to review the impact of Transfers more, just what I thought !
Thanks,

Dear Saleem,
I hope you are fine.
Thank you for working to fix the defect that currently exists in the transfers, and for giving us the opportunity to test the demo.
We spent the past few days testing the system using the available demo, we have adopted a method of testing the three accounting theories. We applied all possible scenarios when using the system. The results can be summarized as follows:
Quantity numbers have become correct, whether at the warehouse level or at the level of all warehouses. The same applies to the cost value of the goods.
When AVCO is applied, everything goes as expected and properly. When applying LIFO or FIFO the following is observed:-
When entering purchase orders at a specific warehouse and then making a sale, there are no problems, but… By entering purchase orders at a specific warehouse, as well as making transfers between warehouses and then selling from any of the warehouses, here we cannot distinguish which of the goods was sold in terms! Where priority is not followed when selling, whether according to the LIFO or FIFO theory! Despite this, the numbers of quantities are correct.
Maybe you can test this scenario to be sure.
I would like to emphasize that we made a great effort in these tests because we care about the system working properly, and therefore I would like to draw your attention to the difficulties we faced when working on these tests because the demo session time is not enough and perhaps the demo environment may not be suitable for this work.
We could apply the modifications to the version of the system that we have if you provide us with them?

Eid Mubarak.
I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on our tests outcomes.

Hello,
I am sorry for the late reply.
I think that it’s due to transfer as once transferred the main record of item will be modified and all new are no more attached to the master purchase. The records are fetched from purchase_items order by date as per method FIFO/LIFO.
I have attached the patch.zip file for the changes made to resolve the products stock value on transfer.
Thank you
