What Differences Between The Two Versions

Hi Saleem,
We get to know that you have new release (Version: 4.0.0-beta.0, Release Date: March 7, 2025).
We are using the latest version of Stock Manager Advance with Point-of-Sale Module and we made modifications to suits our needs.
My questions are:
- What differences between the two versions?
- And is it recommended to upgrade to the new release? if so, at what level it will affect our modifications, could you provide list where the changes have been made?

Hello,
The v4 is being written using Laravel & Vuejs. It will have the same features in start and compatible with latest php versions and modern stack options like queues. The V4 will get updates while the v3 will be on bug fix mode till v4 stable release after that v3 will be stopped.
No, the v4 is not ready for production use yet, it's only there for testing and feedback. As it's written from scratch in different framework so there is no option to update from v3 or save any modifications made in v3.
