Corrupt Zip Downloading From Codecanyon

0

Hi

We have just acquired MPS and it seems that the file hosted on Codecanyon is corrupt, could you check it and re-upload it? or send me an access to an FTP where to download it correctly?

We have tried to upload the ZIP to the server to unzip from Plesk and from a local computer to upload it manually file by file, both methods were unsuccessful, we attached LOGS in case they could help.

(See attach, long log....)

Thank you

Hello,

Please follow the instllation instruction from documentation.pdf in your download or form live versions.

Please make sure that you have set the correct root path and after extracting the files, you should be able to access the installer.

If you still can't manage, please let me know your server details in private reply.

You can add private replies by enabling the PRIVATE for Staff only at top right of reply section.

Thank you

My problem has nothing to do with what they answer, when I unzip the zip that I downloaded from MPS from Codecanyon, it is corrupt, if you see the LOGS you will be able to see that unzipping on the server or on the windows desktop with winrar returns errors.

Our client is waiting for us to install the system and I have four people unable to work waiting for a solution to the problem.

Thanks

The problem is in the "public/images" directory, it is completely corrupt, the resources and files that are hosted there cannot be extracted.

Please, do a self test and download the ZIP from codecanyon, you will see how they cannot decompress it correctly.

We urgently need them to give us access to an FTP where to download it or fix the ZIP they have in codecanyon.

We have already searched our lives to solve it, we have had to extract all the files from "public\images" from the ZIP one by one, create a new directory structure and rebuild a new ZIP that is no longer corrupt. But surely other clients of yours have this problem and it is not a good first impression after buying a script that is not even well compressed or verified.

I take this opportunity to ask you, in the inlive documentation, they indicate that you have to adjust the rootpath, in which file is this defined? in ".env"? or in the .htaccess?? Or where

Thanks

Hello,

The public/images if not directory by symbolic link. Installer runs php artisan storage:link --force command to create/link this to storage folder.

If for any reason there is issue, running php artisan storage:link --force should re-link. If you still have issue, please share the output of this command.

The root path is not item releated but you server. It's the domain root path and should be set on your web server config. You can refer to this SO Question for apache.

Thank you

Hello,

Is this happening after successful installation? Please try to run php artisan storage:link --force and let me know the output.

I have checked and found locations, users, roles, and accounts are only for super. I will fix the permissions in the next update.

Thank you
